Who we are

Kodii is a service of Legacy Tax Hub Ltd, Nairobi. We look after your personal information under the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.

What we collect

Your name, email, phone number, how you earn, what you ask us to help with, the questions you ask Kodii, and any documents or KRA messages you choose to send us.

We never ask for your iTax password. iTax access. We'll arrange this with you directly.

Why we collect it

Only to answer your tax questions, prepare and file your tax work, remind you of deadlines, and contact you about your account. We use it with your consent, which you give when you create an account.

Who we share it with

We share your information with KRA only when you ask us to act for you. We never sell your information or share it with advertisers. The services that host Kodii keep it safe for us under strict confidentiality.

How long we keep it

For as long as you have an account, and after that only as long as Kenyan tax law requires us to keep tax records.

Where it is stored

On secure, encrypted servers. Only you and the Kodii team who work on your taxes can see it.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, move it, or delete it. You can withdraw your consent at any time. You can also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
